GTM Engineer

Clay, Deliverability & Outreach Systems

Remote (CET overlap)Part-time (B2B contract)

About the Role

Are you one of the few who understands that world-class outreach is a feat of engineering, not just sales? If you live and breathe tools like Clay and see outreach as a system to be architected, we want to talk to you. ProspectX helps manufacturers of physical products find buyers abroad. We deliver ready-to-go meetings with foreign decision-makers (importers, distributors, retail chains, purchasing directors) as a cost-effective, year-round alternative and complement to trade fairs. The manufacturer shows up and sells. We put them at the table. Finding the right foreign buyers at scale, across markets and languages, and reaching them in a way that earns a reply, is an engineering problem. Building and operating that system is your role. You'll build for multiple manufacturer clients across different industries and export markets, so you think in systems and run several workflows in parallel. This is an engineering and systems role, not cold calling and not closing. The manufacturer takes the meeting and sells. You build the engine that gets them to the table. This starts as a part-time B2B engagement. As volume and results grow, the scope grows with it. We are transparent about that from day one.

What You'll Do

Architect the buyer-finding engine: design and implement the workflows that identify and qualify foreign buyers (importers, distributors, retail chains) for our manufacturer clients

Master the tech stack: integrate Clay with Smartlead, HeyReach, CRMs, and data enrichment sources into one coherent system

Own deliverability: set up and maintain sending infrastructure so our outreach reaches the inbox at scale, across markets and domains (InboxKit)

Drive intelligence-driven execution: use data and research to create hyper-personalized outreach that earns replies from decision-makers

Optimize and iterate: relentlessly analyze data to improve every part of the system, from match rates to response rates to booked meetings

Innovate: research and test new tools and methods to keep ProspectX at the front of the industry

What We're Looking For

A Clay master: verifiable, deep mastery of Clay. You know its capabilities, its limits, and how to push it to the edge

GTM tech expert: extensive hands-on experience across the GTM technology landscape

Deliverability expert: you understand sending domains, warmup, inbox rotation, and how to diagnose and fix placement problems. This is core, not a bonus

Strategic thinker: you understand that technology serves strategy. You start with "why" before "how"

Data-obsessed: you make decisions based on data and are comfortable tracking, analyzing, and reporting results

Autonomous problem-solver: a proactive operator who executes high-level goals without constant supervision

Comfortable solving the unknown: you can figure out new problems and new markets, not just run a known playbook. Experimentation is part of the engineering

Fluent in English: clear written and spoken communication is essential

Nice to Have

AI First: hands-on experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex) for building automations and integrations

Familiarity with manufacturing, export, or B2B distribution markets, and how foreign buyers (importers, distributors, retail chains) operate

Understanding of SQL and basic data analysis

Experience with Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar automation platforms

What We Offer

100% remote work

High ownership and real impact on client outcomes

Small team. Direct access to the founder. Fast decisions. No bureaucracy

Freedom to experiment with new tools, workflows, and AI-powered systems

Clear hourly compensation based on tracked hours and executed system milestones

Growing scope, responsibility, and influence as results compound
